This is the lesson learners put off booking and then wish they had booked sooner. Reverse parking between markers, parallel parking, three-point turns and kerb-side stops are practised in a quiet car park set up with cones before being repeated on a real street. We keep going until the manoeuvre is boring rather than stopping once it works once.

Step by step, in this order

Every lesson: 60 or 90 min. You always know which part you're on.

  1. 01 Set up cones in a quiet car park to mark the bay
  2. 02 Walk through the reference points before the first attempt
  3. 03 Repeat the manoeuvre until it holds up without talk-through
  4. 04 Move to a real kerb-side or parallel park nearby
  5. 05 Sign the logbook and note which manoeuvre needs another pass

Do you use real cones or just cars in a car park?

Real cones, set up the same way a test route typically marks a reverse-parking bay, so the reference points match what a learner will actually see on the day.

How many attempts does it usually take?

There is no fixed number. Some learners have it in twenty minutes and others need the full lesson and a top-up the week after, and both are completely normal.

Can I book this lesson more than once?

Yes, and plenty of learners do, right up until the manoeuvre stops needing to be thought through.
